The third and fourth graders walked to the Bellows Falls Community Bike Project at their new location on the corner of Atkinson and Henry Streets on the mornings of October 13th and 14th. Mr. Lawry arranged the visits as part of his curriculum about bike care and riding. The students learned more about bikes and bike tools. When asked what was the most interesting bike at the shop, Emma K answered, “The old bike with the big and small wheel.” Ferris thought the most interesting tool at the bike shop was the chain tool.
In a Halloween surprise, Mr. Lawry dressed up in old-fashioned clothes and used the old-fashioned bike in the CES Halloween parade!!
